The Summerland Community Centre is ready for some much needed upgrades — and with your help, we can make them happen. Our building is well loved and well used, and now it’s
time to give it the care it deserves.
This 50/50 draw will help us tackle two important improvements: replacing the exterior fascia, where the panels are starting to rot beneath the blue paint, and installing new energy efficient
blinds to keep the Centre comfortable and cost effective year round.
We’re already off to a strong start. Thanks to a generous $6,560 grant from the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan–Similkameen and the Cascadia Credit Union, we’re well on our way. Even better — the Foundation has offered an additional $7,000 in matching funds. To unlock that full amount, we need to raise the remaining $7,000.
Every ticket you buy brings us closer.
The SCC is a hub for the entire region — from Summerland to Penticton to Kelowna — offering programs for all ages, special events, and hall rentals that bring people together.
These upgrades will help us keep the Centre safe, welcoming, and ready for the next generation of community gatherings.
