This 50/50 draw will help Summerland Community Centre tackle two important
improvements: replacing the exterior fascia, where the panels are starting to rot
beneath the blue paint, and to refurbish all lighting to energy efficient LR to keep
the Centre comfortable and cost effective year round.
We’re already off to a strong start. Thanks to a generous support from the
Community Foundation of the South Okanagan–Similkameen and the Cascadia
Credit Union, we’re well on our way. Even better — the Foundation has offered an
additional $15,000 in matching funds. To unlock that full amount, we need to raise the remaining $15,000.
These upgrades will help us keep the Centre safe, welcoming, and ready for the
next generation of community gatherings.
